Mum's brownies

We don't make brownies often; they never formed a part of our childhood confectionary memories. So imagine my surprise when thumbing through my mother's typed-up old recipebookt, to discover a recipe for brownies! With sour cream frosting!
With a lot of disappointment among my bible study due to the 'stay at home' orders (and subsequent lockdown), I figured that brownies wouldn't fix the problem but they might ease the pain a little!
And hospitality/feeding people is probably one of my 'love languages'. EAT THE THINGS. EAT ALL THE THINGS.
I didn't make the sour cream frosting - didn't have any sour cream, and brownies are good enough just as they are, IMO.

Notes, Adjustments, Thoughts
I added white choc chips, there was a little less chocolate than the recipe called for, but it turned out perfect. They were really good, very brownie-ish, perfect texture, deliciously rich taste.
Will definitely make again.
