Baci Ice Cream

Tried out yet another Nigella Lawson recipe, this time an ice cream from her Forever Summer. It's not online so here's a scan (click to enlarge):



Changes: I don't know if the hazelnut syrup I had was weaker than the one used in the recipe but I had to add twice as much to get the hazelnut taste to not get completely drowned by the chocolate and I think I could have used even more.

Verdict: Very rich and absolutely delicious! Personally I would have prefered a stronger taste of hazelnut so if I make it again I will probably use a little less chocolate and even more hazelnut syrup.

It's very, very tasty indeed but yes, maybe not in winter :-)
