From my mother's cookbook. Handwritten.

Ingredients:
2 Pork Chops
1 tbsp seasoned flour
3/4 oz butter
3 oz button mushrooms
1/4 pt dry cider
Worcester sauce
salt and ground pepper
2 fl oz double cream
Finely chopped parsley

Method:
1. Coat pork in flour.

2. Fry in butter for 15 minutes until evenly cooked. Remove from pan and keep warm.

3. Add mushrooms to pan and cook gently for 2 or 3 minutes.

4. Stir in the remaining flour. Cook for 1 or 2 minutes then add cider. Bring to the boil. Add shake Worcester sauce and seasoning.

5. Replace pork. Sim,er 10 minutes.

6. Stir in cream. Serve sprinkled with parsley.

Changes, Mistakes and Substitutions
I didn't have button mushrooms so sliced regular white mushrooms. Seemed to work. Skipped the parsley.

Verdict
A nice sauce for pork. I think if I had a lot of similar recipes, I might not make again, but I actually don't have a lot of recipes for pork chops, so this will probably go in the rotation.
