Herbed cream cheese biscuits

This morning, I made herbed cream cheese biscuits from the revised and updated King Arthur Flour Baker's Companion (page 69), which I received as a gift recently. Here's a picture of the recipe since I'm too lazy to type it all out:

These are very easy to make and they smell AMAZING while they're cooking, but I found the black pepper overwhelmed every other flavor in the eating, so I would cut it in half next time. I used fresh chives, and I only needed the 3/4 cup of milk without adding any extra.
